Artist: Kim Flynn

Kim Lee Flynn was born in a tiny, rural town in upstate New Yorkʼs Otsego County. She is the middle of 5 children and left-handed. Making art has been an ever present companion in Kimʼs life. Her mother and her father are artists, and all of her sisters and brother practice various forms of creation. Growing up in such a large, artistic family helped Kim learn from an early age that she could improve her world and make anything she needed by using her creativity and only the materials she had on hand. Although Kim did receive a degree in Commercial Art, she is largely self-taught and has lived, worked & raised three talented children in Sullivan County for over 40 years. Kimʼs work is held in both public and private collections. She has been featured on several garden tours. Her work was selected to be a part of the Woodstock/New Paltz Art & Craft Fair. Her designs have been used for the past 15 years on the t-shirt for the Sullivan Striders Falling Colors roadrace; one of which won an Honorable Mention in Runnerʼs World Magazine. As an artist, Kim Lee Flynn is able to express her unique creative vision with great quality, through various media, in order to make the world a more interesting and beautiful place.
