Artist: Jennifer Bull

Jennifer Bull has lived in Sullivan County her entire life. She is a mom of two beautiful girls Brooke (10) and Samantha (7) and has been married to her husband Timothy Bull for 12 years. They currently live in Roscoe, NY but have strong ties to many of the towns in Sullivan County. Jennifer is a graduate of Livingston Manor Central School (1999) and attended The College of Saint Rose of Albany with her twin sister Jessica Mall, where they both acquired a BS in Art Education and a minor in Photography (2003), and attended N.Y.I.T (New York Institute of Technology) for a Masters in Instructional Technology. After College she moved back to Livingston Manor to be with her family and help her mom take care of her father who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1997. As luck would have it, a part-time art teaching position opened up at Liberty High School; she applied and got the job. Jennifer has worked at Liberty High School ever since, teaching art for 15 years. She presently teaches Studio Art, Advanced Studio Art, Drawing and Painting, Sculpture, Ceramics and has also taught Photography.

DOVE INSPIRATION: Jennifer wanted to put a design in for the Dove Trail because of its historical connection to the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock and to be part of such a wonderful Community project. To her the dove represents peace, love, and grace, three things that everyone needs in their life to find happiness. Jennifer commented, “It’s such an uplifting shape, and being able to paint it in a Peter Max theme made it all the more interesting to me.”
