During her first year, she created and passed Dean’s Law, which instituted an Animal Abuse Registry for offenders to be placed on when convicted of animal abuse crimes. She assisted in forming one of the first Land Banks in NYS for our County to restore blighted properties and buildings and put them back on the tax rolls. Mrs. Ward enjoys spending time with her husband and children fishing, hiking, and kayaking.

INSPIRATION: The Airport Dove was just so much fun for Terrie. She knew from the very beginning that she wanted the dove to be a pilot with the really cool aviator goggles and hat. Terri is very pleased with the way it came out. The Sullivan County Airport lettering is floating on the clouds and ever rising as the airport grows to new heights. The dandelion side of the dove is from a sketch that Terri made some time ago. She wanted to connect how nature, the wind, peace, love, and music make us feel and allow us to be free. Free and floating on the wind.
