Dove Artist: Brenda Sywalski
Brenda Sywalski was born in Monticello and is a graduate of Monticello CSD. She earned a BFA from Rochester Institute of Technology in Printmaking, with a minor in Graphic Design. Recently Brenda attended Rhode Island School of Design’s Summer Institute of Graphic Design. Currently Brenda works in various forms of printmaking, painting, and digital drawing media. Brenda’s work is informed by different relationships between man and nature, with related ideas of symbiosis, cooperation, invasion, and escape.
DOVE INSPIRATION: The design for this Dove reflects the peace, and love of nature, surrounding us in beautiful Forestburgh. Several of Brenda’s works will be on display at Unison Arts Center in New Paltz, NY; as part of the R7 NYSATA group exhibit.
