About: The Village of Woodridge in Sullivan County, New York, is one of the featured stops on the Sullivan County Dove Trail, a public art project celebrating the region’s deep cultural roots and community spirit. Each sculpture in the trail is uniquely designed, and the dove in Woodridge proudly showcases the village’s connection to nature, rail heritage, and colorful local life. Set against rolling hills and adorned with vibrant flowers, a whimsical train, and a rainbow steam plume, the sculpture is a playful nod to the historic “Rails to Trails” path, with a sign marking Bethel just 2.4 miles away — the site of the legendary 1969 Woodstock festival.itage.
